The 2-piece slicing system includes a molded cradle base that self-centers a bagel vertically. It is sized to accept traditional bagels measuring up to 5" in diameter and 2" thick. The molded handle incorporates a stainless steel blade and a clear-view polycarbonate blade guard covers that serves to safely isolate fingers from the guillotine slicing action. A bagel is divided in half as you simply push the sharp pointed blade down through it. The Commercial Bagel Biter features a 410 stainless steel blade that is double serrated and has a Xylan non-stick coating.
